Job Responsibilities:
∎ People Management Support
∎ Provide the link between the OCA Coaching and Mentoring Hub, and the staff within the OCA mission. Facilitate the connection of these relationships, as required.
∎ Ensure all managers and supervisors in the mission (both International Staff and National Staff) have personalized Personal Development Plans, and provide support to their managers in the follow-up of these plans. Update yearly or as required.
∎ Provide direct support (though visits, resources, trainings, research) to managers, team leaders, and supervisors on issues regarding team dyamics, communication, leadership, planning, etc. with the aim of improving the working environment of our teams.
∎ Together with the Deputy HR Coordinator, lead the roll-out of the MSF OCA Performance Management System, and ensure it’s proper implementation across the mission.
∎ Detachments:
∎ Responsible for maintaing up to date lists of pre-validated staff for detachments; both domestic/intersectional, as well as international.
∎ In collaboration with the Personnel Administration Manager, the PDM is responsible for overseeing the pre-departure process, including support with briefings, travel, insurance, per diem, etc. and ensure projects have sufficient plans in place to cover any gaps.
∎ Recruitment:
∎ Actively seek out new and better ways of promoting job vacancies within MSF.
∎ Together with the PAM, ensure the creation, distribution, and promotion of high quality recruitment materials across the mission (Job Adverts, Recruitment Tools, Interview Templates, etc)
∎ Training:
∎ While not directly responsible for organizing or facilitating most trainings, support the project Training Officers and/or HR Assists in their own work in this regard. Provide direct training to the Training Officers in their roles.
∎ Maintain an overview of the trainings happening in the mission, and make links between projects when necessary
∎ Support the Responsible Behavior Implementer in the development and facilitation of RB/CoC trainings across the mission, as requested
∎ Liaise with the Intersectional PDM and Deputy HrCo for the organization of any intersectional mission-wide trainings
∎ Organize any required training for the Cox Coordination staff
∎ Provide “TOTs” to Training Officers and other HR staff for any specialized trainings in one’s own area of expertise.
∎ Planning / Reporting:
∎ In close collaboration with the Deputy HrCo, define the overall L&D strategy for the mission and prepare the annual L&D plan and budget for the mission. Conduct or oversee the Learning Needs Assessments across the mission before budget preparation period.
∎ Prepare and submit the monthly mission Learning &Development report
∎ Other:
∎ Ensure intersectional on-boarding/induction materials are implemented and in use across the mission
∎ Develop, adapt, and implement different Learning & Development solutions using the resources offered by MSF L&D Unit in HQ: Tembo, scholarships, coaching, mentoring, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 12 months direct experience in team management. 24+ months preferred
∎ Leading teams of various sizes and compositions, and in different environments (desired)
∎ Teaching, training, or coaching adult learners (essential)
∎ Coaching and/or mentoring managerial positions (an advantage)
∎ Performance management: evaluations, career planning, improvement plans, etc (strongly desired)
∎ Previous experience in an NGO (desired)
Salary:
∎ Tk. 128400 - 154080 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level 10 of the internal MSF salary grid, which is 128,400 BDT gross. Two annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
