WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Has at least 4 years of proven P&C experience with JTI in various P&C areas, Total Rewards, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Performance Management and Talent Attraction & Employee Engagement·
  • Hold strong knowledge of JTI global processes and key contact points managing them·
  • Good understanding of JTI global systems (SAP & Success Factors) and their applicability to day-to-day operations·
  • Experience in partnering with the business in different P&C areas – able to coach/mentor more junior BPs·
  • A proactive and independent contributor·
  • Communicates proactively across all stakeholders·
  • Is willing to relocate to Dhaka, Bangladesh 


Responsibilities & Context:

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE: You will assist the People and Culture Director to drive the JTI Bangladesh P&C agenda by ensuring that the structures, policies, and procedures being put in place are in accordance with JTI Principles. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES: Fully responsible and accountable for organizational design by translating the A&SP into P&C deliverables in terms of applicable structures, headcount, and WG/AB. Possible global projects related to job architecture.        

  • Proactively engage with P&C Director and Heads of Department in driving:
  • Talent Management and Succession Planning processes which include talent reviewing for all WG3 within 2024 and promoting talent management awareness across the organization.  
  • Performance Management by ensuring the annual performance process ranging from business objectives setting, year-end evaluation, and learning needs analysis is in place with JTI’s performance policy for all employees across the 3 entities in Bangladesh.
  • Work closely with the Rewards Team to develop a Strategic Rewards Program:
  • Total Rewards – launch and post-launch of Rewards transparency initiative.
  • Variable pay – continuous improvement of the sales incentive to align with global guidelines.
  • Benefits – in line with JTI principles and market practices – for the 3 entities.
  • Support in up-skilling the team with a range of data quality topics:  SAP – understanding difference between accesses, info-types, data points, reports etc.
  • SAP-HRIS integration – Post UAT parallel Payroll run to ensure integration is successful for employees.
  • MyJTI/MyHR Portal leave transition – support the project team with launching leaves via MyHR portal and MyJTI.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners across market, factory and leaf to provide coaching and upskilling of JTI global guidelines/standards.
