∎ University graduate/relevant Paramedical qualification

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Management of dead body at referral hospitals in coordination with hospital morgue, emergency room, police stations and PSI at KTP hospital.
∎ Supporting patients (and their attendants) at the referral hospitals with orientation and explanation of the services they are receiving.
∎ Management of Blood Transfusion including donor collection, blood screening and confirmatory testing, post-donation counselling in collaboration with blood bank of referral hospitals and referral nurses.
∎ Supporting referral nurses in carrying out investigations of the admitted patients and pursuing approval from coordination
∎ Communicating with authorities of CMCH, BITID and other referral entities (pharmacy, diagnostic centers, orthopedic implant supplier) on a regular basis and discuss day to day challenges faced by MSF referral teams.
∎ Support referral nurses in receiving and discharging patients and physically handing over with transfer nurses
∎ Physically present during the admission and discharge of psychiatric IPD patients and physically handing over to referral/transfer nurses.
∎ Within their competences keeping contact with all patients at referral hospitals, providing information and explanation regarding their health conditions, the treatments and the importance of following them correctly, and basic hygiene and nutrition measures, in order to enhance a preventive culture among the population
∎ Helping referral nurses filling in food cost overview forms, and referral part two forms and sending to coordination and KTP on weekly basis.
∎ Cooperate and communicate with referral finance assistant on weekly advance opening and closing for referral nurses at Chattogram.
∎ Day to day management of referral ambulances in coordination with PSI from KTP
∎ Gap filling during referral nurses absence and carry out any task delegated by supervisor
∎ Monitoring the rational use of medicines and medical equipment, in order to ensure efficient health care treatments and to avoid service disruption.
∎ Strictly applying all rules of hygiene during all medical activities, according to standards in place.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 59 years
∎ At least 1 year experience in supporting patients, counselling experience an advantage.
∎ Working experience in medical sector with patient’s referrals.
∎ Working with NGO an advantage

Salary:
∎ Tk. 64600 - 77520 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level 6 of the internal MSF salary grid, which is 64,600 BDT gross. Two annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
