Responsibilities

• Assist in our global patent prosecution/trademark applications, such as those in the United States (USPTO) and other international offices.

• Collaborate with in-house engineers for patent mining and conduct comprehensive prior art research to determine the patentability of new inventions.

• Perform freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches and analysis to identify potential infringement risks and provide guidance for product development.

• Drafting patent claims, specification documents and preparing documentation for submission at Patent Offices.

• Handling office actions for patent applications.

• Maintain and monitor filing and payment deadlines.

• Assist in ad-hoc assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher degree in Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Intellectual Property or other relevant field. Knowledge in networking is an advantage but not mandatory. 

• 3-5 years’ working experience is preferable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
