Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters preferably in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Public Administration/ Public policy or any relevant subject from a recognised University/ Institution with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations.

∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage existing key government relationships and create new contacts at the national level.
∎ Ensure BRAC visibility in forums of respective development issues.
∎ Identify policy allies and create a plan to engage with them.
∎ Manage communications around policy and partnership work with external stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate field operations work in identifying issues and advocating for a change in legislation at the national level.
∎ Design and implement partnerships intervention that could be conducive to achieve the BRAC programme targets and to identify new partnership opportunities.
∎ Actively participate in activities organized by the coalition of NGOs working in the concerned developed areas/issues/sector.
∎ Support other BRAC programmes engaging directly with the government on special projects.
∎ Provide any other support to senior management if needed and other units of Advocacy for Social Change.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum two (2) years' work experience in development sector with particular focus on policy advocacy and public relations.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Capable of strategic and innovative thinking with particular emphasis on evaluating new opportunities and the associated benefits to policy advocacy.
∎ Experienced in identifying new trends and potential partnerships to meet future advocacy agenda.
∎ Excellent relationship building, communication and report writing skills.
∎ Skilled in organizational capacity development, training, facilitation and capacity building.
∎ Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
