Job Context:
∎ Nari Maitree is looking for skilled and ambitious professionals for our Humanitarian Response team in Ukhia, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ "Delivering Health, Nutrition, Livelihood and Protection Services to Rohingya Refugees and Vulnerable Host Communities in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh" Project.
∎ Full-time; 6 month contract, renewable based upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
∎ This is a 06 month project starting from November 1, 2021 with a possibility of extension for a long time.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As outreach Officer will be responsible for overseeing Child Protection activities (awareness raising, community engagement).
∎ Supervise and support activities of project facilitators and volunteers.
∎ Organize street show and radio listening groups.
∎ Liaise with community leaders, youth and boys.
∎ Provide training the young boys and organize dialogues with community men to promote awareness on GBV, Child marriage and gender equality.
∎ Produce daily, weekly, monthly data and regular narrative reports.
∎ Perform other duties, as appropriate and requested by supervisor.
∎ Directly reported to the Project Coordinator and at the same time to MEAL Officer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Basic knowledge on computer operation, Excel, Spreadsheet and use of web-based data entry software.
∎ Understanding on local language, communication language on local accent (vocabulary) with Rohingya community.
∎ Willingness to travel hard to reach areas and extra-hours of work.
∎ 3 to 4 year(s) on programs related to women empowerment, MHM and protection.
∎ Working experience with Rohingya response will be an advantage.
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and humanitarian principles.
∎ Good communication skills.
Salary: Tk. 37000 - 38000 (Monthly)
