Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum HSC and must have at least 01 year training on Ophthalmic Assistant Course
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Day to day manage the eye patients
∎ Support ophthalmic check-up including eye examination through trial set, slit lamp and other ophthalmic equipment
∎ Follow strictly the clinical protocol developed by the project
∎ Provide selective eye care services to each patients
∎ Provide refraction services and dispending appropriate medicine and spectacles
∎ Communicate to the respective person of the hospital for referral services
∎ Provide effective counseling to the patients for completion of services
∎ Provide all support to eye consultant during eye check up
∎ Inform to the CM for any problem facing in daily operation of the centre
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working experience of at least 1-2 years at a relevant position at the hospital/ clinic.
