Experience:
1 year experience in working at the hospital (during training) and/or working experience in BRAC Vision Centre/Completed MLOP Training course for 1 year is preferred.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide ophthalmic check-up including eye examination through trial set, slit lamp and other ophthalmic equipment to the patients coming to VC
Provide telemedicine services to each patient
Provide refraction services and dispensing appropriate medicine and spectacles
Keep record of the patients in the Vision Centre Management (VCM) software and maintain online performance report on daily basis (or as per the management requirement)
Ensure teleconsultation services communicating with the respective person of the hospital & Telemedicine unit.
Provide effective counseling to the patients for completion of services
Ensure day-to-day fund management of vision centre
Strictly follow the clinical protocol as per instruction
Liaise with relevant internal (other programmes of BRAC) and external stakeholders or partners.
Ensure community mobilizations through PSP & SSTP.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
