Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a highly experienced and performance-driven Operations Manager – Collection to lead and strengthen our receivables and recovery operations within the financing business. The ideal candidate will have strong MFI experience, robust field collection expertise, and the ability to design and implement structured recovery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and manage overall collection operations for current and overdue receivables.

·       Monitor aging reports and ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.

·       Develop, implement, and continuously improve a structured collection framework and SOP.

·       Design collection strategies based on risk segmentation and portfolio performance.

·       Supervise and guide field collection teams to achieve recovery targets.

·       Ensure proper follow-up on delinquent accounts and reduce portfolio at risk (PAR).

·       Conduct regular field visits to monitor collection activities and team performance.

·       Analyze repayment trends and recommend corrective actions to management.

·       Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Product, and Field Operations) for smooth operations.

·       Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

·       Prepare structured MIS reports, aging dashboards, and recovery performance analysis.

·       Identify potential high-risk accounts and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Train and mentor team members to improve collection efficiency and professionalism.

Skills & Qualifications

·       Graduation from a reputed public or private university.

·       7+ years of experience in Microfinance (MFI) or financing operations.

·       Strong and proven collection and recovery management experience.

·       Solid understanding of portfolio management and risk control.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (reporting, data analysis, dashboards).

·       Expertise in field team supervision and operational management.

·       Strong structured reporting and presentation skills.

·       Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capability.

·       Travelling to outside Dhaka is required for this position.
