JOB DESCRIPTION: Operations Lead
Position Title:
Business Operation Lead – Light Division/Electrical Accessories Division / Cable Division
Reports To:
Managing Director / Group CEO
Job Purpose
To lead the Light Division/Electrical Accessories Division / Cable Division as an independent profit center with full accountability for strategy, operations, sales, supply chain, and financial performance.
1. Business Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement annual and long-term business strategies
Identify new market opportunities, product lines, and customer segments
Conduct competitor and market analysis for strategic positioning
Set business targets, KPIs, and growth benchmarks
Drive innovation in product and business model
2. Profit & Loss (P&L) Management
Take full ownership of the business unit’s P&L
Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
Monitor revenue, margins, and profitability regularly
Control costs and improve operational efficiency
Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions
3. Operations Management
Oversee production planning and execution
Ensure product quality and compliance with standards
Improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce wastage
Implement process improvement initiatives (Lean, GMP, etc.)
Coordinate with factory teams to ensure timely output
4. Supply Chain & Procurement
Manage procurement planning and vendor selection
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and components
Optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs
Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution planning
Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers
5. Sales & Distribution
Develop and execute sales strategies across all channels
Set and monitor sales targets for teams and regions
Expand dealer/distribution network
Ensure strong market presence and brand positioning
Collaborate with marketing for campaigns and promotions
6. Financial & Compliance Oversight
Ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency
Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization
Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with finance team for audits, reporting, and risk management
7. Team Leadership & People Management
Build and lead a cross-functional team (Sales, Ops, SCM, Finance)
Set performance goals and monitor team KPIs
Drive a high-performance and accountable culture
Identify training and development needs of employees
Ensure employee engagement and retention.
Monthly and yearly manpower requisition and projection.
8. Business Coordination
Align business unit strategy with overall group objectives
Collaborate with other business units for synergy
Provide regular performance reports to top management
Participate in strategic planning at group level
Ensure smooth communication across departments
9. Financial Report and Business Summary Report
Submission of monthly financial report within 4 working days of each month.
Preparation and submission of Sales summary report within 2 working days of each month.
Projection of monthly sales and cash inflow (due collection, regular collection, DB Investment) & outflow.

Educational & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering / business / supply chain (MBA preferred)
15–20+ years of experience in manufacturing or electrical/light industry
Minimum 10+ years in a leadership role managing full business functions
