Job Summary
The Hospital Operation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall day-to-day operations of the hospital to ensure efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, optimal resource utilization, and high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, nursing, housekeeping, and security
Ensure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments
Implement hospital policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines
Monitor staff performance, duty rosters, attendance, and discipline
Handle patient service issues, complaints, and service improvement initiatives
Supervise billing, cash counter operations, and support revenue monitoring
Control operational costs and minimize wastage
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, audits, and inspections
Oversee facility management, equipment maintenance, utilities, and safety systems
Manage inventory coordination and procurement support
Prepare and submit operational reports to top management
Ensure emergency preparedness, risk management, and safety protocols
Educational Qualification
Master’s Degree from a recognized university (mandatory)
Degree or professional qualification in Hospital Management / Healthcare Management will be considered as relevant experience and given preference
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 (ten) years of relevant experience in hospital operations or healthcare management
Experience in managing multi-department hospital operations will be an added advantage
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, coordination, and people management skills
In-depth knowledge of hospital workflow and patient services
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple departments
Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Familiarity with hospital software, billing systems, and MIS reporting
