GMS Trims Ltd. a reputed garments accessories company in Bangladesh is going to recruit "Officer/Senior Officer - Product Development (Garment Accessories)" for Factory Unit located in Sardaganj, Kashimpur, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new garment accessories such as labels, elastics, drawcords, tapes, heat transfer, patches, trims, and packaging items based on buyer requirements.

• Coordinate with buyers/merchandising team for new developments, artwork, and technical specifications.

• Source raw materials and accessories from local and international suppliers.

• Prepare product costing and price quotations for new developments.

• Follow up sample development from sampling to approval stage.

• Work closely with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure bulk production feasibility.

• Maintain development tracker and ensure on-time submission of samples.

• Conduct product testing and ensure compliance requirements (OEKO-TEX, RSL, etc.).

• Develop alternative materials and cost-saving options.

• Visit suppliers and factories when required for development and troubleshooting.

• Maintain development records, swatches, and technical files.

• Support marketing and sales team with new product presentations and sample collections.

• Ensure smooth handover from development stage to bulk production.

• Monitor development lead time and improve development process efficiency.
