Responsibilities & Context:
One of the progressive foreign banks in the country invites applications from young, confident, proactive
and energetic candidates for an opening in Teller Service (Branch).
Job Purpose:
The job holder will effectively manage cash services strictly in accordance with the policies and
procedures implemented by the Bank and regulator without compromising on service aspects; provide
accurate and efficient services to customers within appropriate turnaround time ensuring full
compliance with internal controls & procedures.
Job Description / Responsibility
The major responsibilities are:
Keep updated regarding policies and procedures of Central Bank’s instructions pertaining to cash handling and ensure their compliance.
Handle cash, make and receive payments, make demand drafts and account transfers; process cash advances ensuring full compliance with bank’s procedures and regulations.
Ensuring transactions are complete and recorded with proper verification of documents and supporting documents from supervisor.
Reconcile all cash transactions at the end of the day; coordinate with the auditors to monitor cash.
