Responsibilities & Context:

ACI Agrolink Limited, a concern of ACI PLC, is a leading frozen seafood processing company in Bangladesh, specializing in the processing and export of high-quality shrimp. With a strong focus on quality, compliance and operational excellence. To strengthen our procurement and sourcing operations, we are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Officer, Supply Chain, who will be responsible for collecting market prices, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, and ensuring timely procurement of raw materials to support uninterrupted production.

  • Monitor raw material (Shrimp) market trends to support accurate price estimation.
  • Align procurement plans with production and storage requirements.
  • Gather and compile industry purchase volume data for benchmarking and forecasting.
  • Analyze historical purchase data and supplier performance to support procurement decisions.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers to diversify sourcing options.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
  • Collect daily/weekly shrimp price data from suppliers, agents, and field contacts.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor stock levels and shipment orders to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
  • Work collaboratively with production, accounts and other relevant teams.
  • Maintain supplier records including quotations, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and submit comparative price statements and purchase reports for management review.
  • Verify purchase bills and invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and quality standards.
