∎ This position is primarily responsible for implementation of child protection community-based activities as part of the Rohingya response, in particular for vulnerable and at-risk children. The Officer- Social Work is responsible for arranging CBCPC meeting, Adolescent club/ Child club/ parents meeting, ensuring referral for children, direct service provision of follow up for vulnerable and at-risk children, in line with their needs. S/he will also be responsible for providing support in MPCAC/GFS/AFS in line with internal standards and guidelines.
∎ The Officer- Social Work is responsible for documenting information, capacity building of the parents and other stakeholder, supporting the child/family through ensuring child protection, ensuring data protection in line with internal protocols, and for providing daily updates to the supervisor and preparing regular reports.
∎ We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises or those who need better healthcare, education, and child protection. We also campaign and advocate at the highest levels to realise the right of children and to ensure their voices are heard.
