Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Officer Social Case Work for the mentioned project. The position confirmation subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama/Alikadom
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazila

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide case management services and psychosocial support to vulnerable children, including children at risk of abuse, exploitation, neglect, violence, and unaccompanied or separated children.
∎ Ensure children receive individual case management support by conducting registration, assessments, case plans, direct service provision, referrals and follow up support for an assigned caseload of children, in line with Case Management SOPs.
∎ Provide needs-based support to vulnerable and at-risk children, as required, based on the case plan and case plan objectives.
∎ Conduct follow-up and monitoring visits based on the child's needs.
∎ Ensure that urgent and challenging cases are immediately discussed with direct supervisor.
∎ Establish and maintain constructive relationships with service providers to facilitate case management referrals in project sites, under the supervision of the Case Management Officer.
∎ Work closely with the CFS and community mobilization teams to ensure the effective identification of vulnerable and at-risk children and referral between the services
∎ Ensure that confidentiality, informed consent, the best interests of the child, Do No Harm, and other case management principles and best practices are adhered to throughout the case management process, including the utilization of appropriate tools and case management forms.
∎ Work with cultural sensitivity and respect the dignity of vulnerable children and families and members of the host communities at all times.
∎ Attempt to develop relationships of trust with community members - adults and children.
∎ Support community-based mechanisms, including selection, training and mentoring of committee members, as required, in collaboration with the responsible Child Protection Officer.
∎ Keep close communication with the CBCPC bodies.
∎ Support community awareness sessions on child protection concerns, identification of vulnerable children and the process of registration of separated/unaccompanied children including family tracing.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 3 years' experiences of working in relevant position of a development organization related to Child Protection program.
∎ The candidate must have knowledge in Child Protection and skills of effective relationship with the community people, local traditional leaders and stakeholders. He/she must have experiences working with adolescents and parents at para level. Conduct sessions at community level as per plan of the target participants to remove the rumors at local level. Organize monthly meeting with child and adolescent where discussion will be focused on Gender based violence and protective behavior. Arrange meeting with parents and caregiver for capacity building on child protection. Prepare report and submit to Project Officer-CP.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files for all child protection cases.
∎ Participate in case conferences and case management meetings as required.
∎ Adhere to strict confidentiality and information management standards and protocols, sharing information only in compliance with these standards
∎ Support and participate in programme monitoring and evaluation activities as requested.
∎ Experience working with children and families.
∎ Ability to work in a team, capable to work under pressure and be able to work in a sensitive manner.
∎ In case of separated and unaccompanied children, document and follow up according to the standard family tracing and reunification procedures.
∎ Provide reintegration support and follow up to reunified cases.
∎ Monitor and support temporary care arrangements and arrange foster care for separated/unaccompanied children in line with internal procedures and standards
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.

Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
