Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure monitoring and regular inspection of site’s fire detection & protection system, actively running at all BRAC’s entities
∎ Ensure proper Fire Detection & Protection system installation projects with relevant drawings & budget as required
∎ Ensure quality monitoring and optimize safety team rosters for productivity.
∎ Ensure timely maintenance of firefighting equipment and maintain accurate records of inspections.
∎ Coordinate with concerned BRAC programs/ departments/floor managers/ BRAC offices /Emergency Response Team/FSCD/RAJUK etc. to ensure workplace safety
∎ Enhance efficiency, develop team skills aligned with BRAC's values, and undertake tasks assigned by the supervisor.
∎ Ensure the safety of Program Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Job Purpose: Officer, Safety is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. They advise on safety measures, conduct risk assessments, and enforce preventative measures. Their role involves promoting a safe workplace, providing training, and investigating incidents to improve overall safety.
∎ Key Responsibilities
