Job Context:
∎ Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) is a centre of excellence with a vision of Bangladesh free from acid violence, where burn victims, especially women and children, live with dignity.
∎ It is an independent, non-government, non-profit organization, set up as a Trust and registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh. It is the only specialized NGO in Bangladesh working to prevent acid and burn violence; empower survivors, especially women and children; and campaign for prevention and elimination of this violence. ASF works with an integrated approach, using a holistic (bio-psycho-social) multi-disciplinary approach backed by research, experience and evidence.
∎ ASF is looking for a qualified candidate for the following position.
∎ The overall job purpose is to contribute to the organizational growth through the creative and innovative strategy/ideas of resource mobilization, concept paper development, project proposal writing and capitalizing CSR opportunity, thus leading to the sustainability of the organization.
∎ Location: Based in Dhaka and will be required for field visit.
∎ Work days: 5 days in a week (Sunday to Thursday); 40 hours/week
∎ Job Nature: Full time Contractual
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Update the Resource Mobilization Plan of ASF based on the current scope of work in development and as aligned with the mandate of ASF;
∎ Lear and adapt the state-of-the-art tools and techniques of fundraising initiatives, as practiced by the renowned NGO, Charity and UN Agencies;
∎ Work on the fund-raising activities according to the updated Resource Mobilization Plan;
∎ Search call for proposals (RFP/RFA) announced by donors and screen them whether these fit with the ASF strategy;
∎ Write a quality project proposal and concept papers and attain in the Call for Proposals successfully with fulfilling the criteria and due diligence;
∎ Strengthen communication and lobbying with donors, embassies, corporates, sponsors, charity/foundation)
∎ Coordinate with concerned ASF units for exchanging ideas and accumulate INFO/feedback for generating concept papers and/or project proposals;
∎ Identify the survivors' need, prepare need assessment report, and reflect these into the project proposal/concept papers to apply for the grants from suitable sources.
∎ Prepare a monthly plan and submit the monthly accomplishment reports to the supervisor
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor that may be within the scope of the position to ensure effective delivery.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Experience Requirements: Not mandatory, but demonstrative experience on creative writing skills desirable
∎ Knowledge of the tools and process of resource mobilization design
∎ Computer competency including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Canva.
∎ Creative writing skills
∎ Able to translate from Bangla to English
∎ Presentation skills
∎ Flexibility and a strong commitment to the job
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
∎ Networking and negotiation skills,

Salary: Tk. 33250 (Monthly)
