Job Purpose: This position is responsible for enhancing the quality of teaching, learning, and overall school performance. This role focuses on supporting school leadership (HT and AHT) and teachers to implement active, competency-based, and child-centered learning practices. The QF ensures effective curriculum delivery, strengthens teaching capacities, promotes innovation in academic and co-curricular activities, and drives positive, measurable improvements in student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure students’ learning outcome achievement and overall performance in corner activities, club activities, project-based learning, hands-on activities, book reading practice, and other co-curricular activities through regular supervision and tracking to enhance overall school performance.
Develop the capacity of teachers (HT, AHT, and Teachers) in pedagogy, including active learning methods, assessment questions, and digital literacy, and in leadership skills through workshops, orientations, refreshers, training programmes, and meetings, and measure improvements using SMART tools.
Develop and promote strategies to incorporate competency-based questions in student assessments, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and improving students’ performance in all board exams.
Organise academic and cultural activities and competitions (e.g., Math Fairs, Science Fairs, cultural events) and prepare necessary guidelines and documentation for effective implementation.
Implement new interventions developed by HO and contribute to the development of training modules and supplementary teaching materials for the successful execution of new initiatives.
Provide timely reports on school supervision and on the conduct of trainings and refreshers to the chain management.
Execute any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, in alignment with the goals of the organisation.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
