Education:
∎ Master of Arts (MA) in English, Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics
∎ Masters in any subject, preferably in English/Statistics.

∎ 5-10 years of experience of working in education/ development sector with 2-3 years of experience in monitoring/ evaluation /research.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure proper monitoring of all branches and NGOs by visiting their offices twice a year.
∎ Develop and ask relevant, skill-based questions during monitoring sessions.
∎ Gain a comprehensive and clear understanding of all components of the BRAC Education Program (BEP).
∎ Prepare accurate reports on time and submit them to the appropriate person.
∎ Conduct performance monitoring of students’ learning progress in alignment with monitoring principles, marking guidelines, and grading standards.
∎ Monitor refreshers and parents' meetings effectively through session observations and by conducting focus group discussions (FGDs) with teachers and parents.
∎ Ensure proper sampling of all components in accordance with monitoring principles.
∎ Develop monthly action plans based on the yearly monitoring plan and tasks assigned by the BEP monitoring unit.
∎ Conduct effective meetings with all branch staff at the conclusion of the monitoring process.
∎ Identify underperforming schools, branches, and cases of teacher absenteeism in schools or refreshers.
∎ Follow up on staff actions based on the findings and prepare non-pedagogical reports.
∎
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
