• Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Social Science, Anthropology, Development Studies

• Bachelor - Degree, preferably in Statistics, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Development Studies, Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or in a related field.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• At least 2 years working experience and knowledge in MEAL, preferably in community resilience projects.

• Proven working experience in Data visualization

• Sound understating on Data collection, Analysis and meaningful interpretation.

• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken).

• Strong project management, partnership management and budget management skills.

• Basic knowledge and experience in SPSS and POWER BI.

The Opportunity
The Officer – MEAL is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive support to Coordinator-MEAL in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, knowledge management, research, and reporting. This role ensures that an effective and efficient MEAL system is implemented across all projects under the Youth, Child Poverty and Economic Resilience sector, in compliance with Save the Children International (SCI) standards and procedures.
The postholder will lead the implementation of the MEAL system at the project level to track progress, apply Quality Benchmarks (QB), and strengthen accountability mechanisms. S/he will also support learning and knowledge management processes within the project. Key responsibilities include developing data collection tools, training and supervising data collectors, and ensuring the quality and integrity of project data. This includes project management information system, maintaining the MEAL database, addressing technical issues, and analyzing MEAL data at key intervals.
Additionally, the Officer–MEAL will support capacity-building initiatives by conducting trainings and workshops for project staff and providing continuous technical assistance on MEAL. S/he will assist the coordinator–MEAL in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Country Office (CO), donors, and other stakeholders.
