Job Context:
∎ Data gathering at different levels, conducting ad hoc assessment interviews, conducting focus group discussion, data entry and reporting and contributing to overall implementation of assessment, monitoring and evaluation activities. Monitoring & Evaluation activities covering different sectors (Nutrition and Health, Food Security and Livelihoods and Disaster Risk Reduction; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Mental Health Care Practices and Gender Protection)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make necessary arrangement before assessment (calling group participants, checking access to areas, setting times, checking availability etc.)
∎ Ensure suitability of the place of interview (considering privacy, confidentiality of information, etc.)
∎ Identify eligible people in the household/tented settlement for the interviews/questionnaires and inform them the objective of the assessment
∎ Conduct interviews at different levels (households, distribution point, facilities, institutions, etc.) and by different methods (in person, over phone etc.)
∎ Apply and manage different data collection tools (Knowledge, Attitude and Practices (KAP) survey, questionnaire etc.)
∎ Compile indirect information triangulate the provided data through direct observation, alternate questions and alternative informants (neighbours, relatives)
∎ Input collected data systematically through android tablet/device or via hard copies of questionnaire
∎ Review information to ensure quality data is provided and assessment tools are completed
∎ Maintain regular contact with beneficiaries, community leaders, local government representatives and other (I)NGOs
∎ Detect the appearance of new refugees/flows and/or establishment of new informal tented settlements (ITS) in the area of operation
∎ Support the Reporting & Monitoring Manager in conducting focus group discussions
∎ Report continuously the progress of the activities and assessments to his/her line manager.
∎ Report weekly on all the activities related to assessment and data collection

∎ Support any other M&E and Technical activities (KAP surveys, items distribution, mass information campaigns, etc.).
∎ Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous field experience in assessments, data gathering, interviews and information triangulation/verification, reporting etc.
∎ Previous experience following KAP methodology would be an asset
∎ Previous experience in KOBO Toolbox, DHIS2 would be an asset
∎ Knowledge in any of the following field: Nutrition & Health, Food Security and Livelihoods, Cash for Work, WASH, MHCP and Gender Protection is desirable
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance;
∎ End of Contract Benefits: up to 2 months' Gross salary;
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year);
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year.
