Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting directly to the Manager - Volunteer Services, this position holder will work collaboratively with Manager and Trainer - Life Skills and Community Mobilizers - Volunteer Services. S/ he will have the responsibility for script writing, organizing theatre teams and development of drama performances and arranging theatre shows for awareness building, the capacity of costume/ set/ light designs, and preparing event reports in Save the Children. This includes supervising the team, contextualizing, and doing field tests; providing technical training to the trainers; planning and supporting implementation field-level activities; maintaining close liaison with the Manager; developing different BCC and awareness materials overseeing the project.
∎ The incumbent will also be responsible for providing technical support, documentation of Interactive Theatre related events, program learning, maintaining logistics, and coordinating with supply chains, trainers, and project participants, ensuring the safety and security of the center along with all the equipment and machines, effective & efficient use of resources. and ensuring logistics requests are raised in a timely manner. S/he will also need to maintain a close relationship with CICs/ ACICs and participate in camp-level coordination meetings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience/ Any equivalent combination of experience.
∎ Understanding of training module preparation, facilitation, and Reporting.
∎ Familiarity with the project life cycle.
∎ Basic understanding of the camp setting.
∎ Fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking) and good working knowledge of using MS office and the internet.
∎ Familiarized with the Chittagonian dialect.
