∎ Experience of working with international and national NGOs within a consortium arrangement.
∎ Experience working in Cox’s Bazar and Chittagong Hill Districts.
∎ Knowledge on safeguarding
∎ Country Labor Law
∎ Fluent in English & Bengali specking, writing & reading. Local language will be added value
∎ Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, ability to thrive in a matrix organization,
∎ Ability to be detail-oriented, and ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality on work-related matters.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ HR Officers plays a vital role in any organization’s human resources team. They’re support a range of HR functions like recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
∎ Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
∎ Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
∎ Provide counseling on policies and procedures
∎ Create and implement effective onboarding plans
∎ Develop and conduct training on policies and procedures for staff
∎ Assist in performance management processes
∎ Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
∎ Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
∎ Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
∎ Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
∎ Undertake tasks around performance management
∎ Maintain employee records (attendance, personal data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
∎ Any other duties required by supervisor
∎ ROLE PURPOSE:
∎ The Human Resource Officer provides vital support in all HR functions, like recruitment, onboarding, cross-department coordination, personnel file management, Field staff Time sheet, , staff benefits coordination, staff engagement, administration of the human resource information system, and assisting in the human resource admin activities on a day-to-day basis in Sub districts. The person in this role is an efficient and effective Human Resource professional with strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for attention to detail, and the ability to create and maintain effective processes and systems to meet the department’s and organization’s objectives.
