∎ Preferred Professional Certification: six month diploma in fire civil defense

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To conduct the fire and emergency evacuation drill as per program / rule / policy to aware all workers / staffs during any fire or emergency incident.
∎ To check all fire equipments on regular basis and to take appropriate maintenance measures for those equipments.
∎ Assist to make layout plan and fixing the fire fighting equipments in proper locations depending on areas, machines and goods in an acceptable standard.
∎ Assist to identify the fire hazards areas and to take proper preventive measures on priority basis.
∎ Assist to monitor / supervise the electrical / power cables / loose wires properly and to take remedial measures immediately.
∎ To check machine maintenance and fire related books , registers , logs etc. correctly on a short schedule basis.
∎ To take initiatives for cleaning fire originated areas like cable trays / spider nets / dust remaining areas in coordination with the respective admin team.
∎ To report/ communicate with the related persons including government bodies for fire related issues as and when require instantly to avoid any fire hazards/ incident.
∎ Any other assignment given by the management time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have experienced in Compliance, Fire & Safety in Knit Garments Industries or Composite Factories
∎ Applicants who do not have any experience in RMG sector need not to apply.
∎ Training on SA 8000 Lead Auditor Course, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 18001 : 2004 (OHSAS) are preferred.
∎ Incumbent should be strong, mentally & physically, to manage a large composite factory.
∎ Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law and other applicable laws & regulations.
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills and good public relation.
∎ Good command in English.
∎ Must have good operational knowledge on email communication, MS Word, Excel and Power point presentation.
Salary: Negotiable
