Job Responsibilities:
∎ Form, facilitate and develop various types of (community leaders, volunteers, young people, women, and children), facilitate various DRR awareness lessons, and monitor literacy;
∎ Build cohesion among the participants and steward nature
∎ Identify the DRR gap and understanding at the community level
∎ Develop awareness materials for DRR for different stakeholders
∎ Share and initiate innovative ideas and encourage participants to break the poverty barrier;
∎ Help participants to build their capacity, identify local resources, and use their own capital;
∎ Be responsible for baseline survey/quarterly survey for implementing new project or evaluation;
∎ Performing data capture and analysis for GIS product
∎ Efficiently managing geospatial database and developing effective different projects' interventions maps and aerial photography.
∎ Maintaining up-to-date and accurate geospatial documentation for reference purposes
∎ Coordinate with other DRR managers, M&E officers, and animators to complete monthly/yearly reports on time;
∎ Carry out other tasks assigned by the MAP that is business critical to achieving regional program goals (DRR).
∎ Conduct DRR hazard mapping in the community
∎ Train community women on gender-based DRR program
∎ Participate and support M&E staff for the baseline study.
∎ Identify training gaps through a participatory process
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years

∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);

∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and / or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting; ARC GIS
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Excellent skill to develop different GIS mapping focused on disaster and climate change impact
∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Ability to travel to insecure countries or locations.
