Additional Requirements: - Applicants with experience in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) shall have an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context: Planning, Design, Implementation, and Reporting:
- Plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and reports WASH activities of the project in compliance with the approved targets and objectives
- Implement and monitor GOAC project activities concerning the planned project implementation schedule
- Identifying suitable sites for WASH implementation at Amtali, Barguna
- Work closely with the Construction Supervisor in the management and construction of WASH infrastructures including maintenance of previous WASH infrastructures
- Ensure Quality and sustainability of WASH interventions in collaboration with concerned stakeholders and partners
- Casual labor management for construction work
- Monitor quality construction according to drawing, design, and guidelines at the community level
- Prepare necessary reports with the support and guidance of relevant staff members
Capacity Building Activities:
- Organize various orientation and training
- Facilitate hygiene promotion activities both at school and community level
- Establish and train WASH committees in collaboration with the Community Office
- Support schools and community people to ensure appropriate handwashing practices, physical operation of devices, and availability of handwashing materials
Monitoring & Learning:
- Participate in preparing periodic progress reports and ensure quality and consistency of reports
- Keep proper documentation of project periodic reports, prepare the beneficiary list, master roll, and other related project documents, etc.
- Participate in the terminal evaluation of WASH interventions.
Partnership and Networking:
- Cooperate with other program staff to ensure good integration with other program areas in general and of sanitation and hygiene promotion in particular.
- Establish and maintain smooth-working relationships with appropriate governmental (mainly Hygiene and Sanitation focal person at the health office), and non-governmental and community-based organizations working in related fields at the district level.
- Carry out any other relevant duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor.
- Participate in personal development training, orientation, and workshops.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Promote the prevention of sexual misconduct, sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, trafficking, shaming, bullying, or any type of harm among communities, program participants, team members, and partners.
- Facilitate Safeguarding messaging with communities, program participants, team members, and partners to raise awareness and promote the reporting of safeguarding issues through Community System for Accountability and Feedback (C-SAFE) and EthicsPoint.
- Act as a reporting avenue for safeguarding issues, and facilitate relevant resources (safety, security, well-being) to survivors in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
