∎ At least 3 years’ experience in a humanitarian/development in Child Protection/GBV or General Protection program.
∎ Knowledge on child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh.
∎ Strong technical understanding of child protection and community-based approaches
∎ Experience in running recreational and psychosocial activities for children and familiar with community-based approaches to GBV and case management system.
∎ Experience in interviewing, collecting data and reporting of child protection work.
∎ Experience in documenting, preserving quantitative and qualitative data.
∎ Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting.
∎ Has basic knowledge in using MS Office and the internet.

∎ The Officer-Child Protection is responsible for supervising and supporting the implementation of prevention activities of protection aspects specially Child Protection and Gender Based Violence (GBV) interventions, including community-based protection activities in the SCI area of the Rohingya Response and Host Community programs. This includes managing and supervising Officer-Social Work, Community Mobilizers, Case Workers, Cleaners and Guards in the respective locations.
∎ S/he will lead community engagement initiatives, women's and adolescent groups, awareness sessions on CP, GBV and protection issues, and psychosocial support activities. The position will also focus on capacity building, coordination, and strengthening referral pathways under the supervision of the Senior Officer-Protection. This position will also have coordination with partner organizations with provision of technical support as essential responsibilities
