Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization that has been operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, and Sylhet Region). CB is currently 94 projects including three Trust covering 200 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities: i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ "ASHSHASH (Phase-II) is a project of WINROCK International which is implemented by Caritas Bangladesh through a partnership agreement. The Ashshash (Phase-II) is funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh through WINROCK International. The main objective of the project is to ensure that "women and men who have escaped trafficking will restore their dignity and well-being and become self-sufficient". The survivors will be provided psychosocial counselling support along with other social services and facilitated opportunities for skill-development and entrepreneurship training. Upon completion of the training survivors will be placed in either wage-based and or self-employment. Furthermore, Ashshash will reach people in the project`s working areas; either directly or indirectly, through awareness-raising activities on factors that make people vulnerable to human trafficking, and to ensure the prevention of human trafficking.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for the different position for ASHSHASH Phase-II project under Khulna Regional of Caritas Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Location : Caritas Khulna Regional Office, Khulna
∎ Age : Maximum 30 years as on 31.10. 2023
∎ Consolidated Salary : 15,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 4% inflation)
∎ Festival / Prorata Bonus : As per organizational policy
∎ Job Nature : Contractual (Full time)
∎ Reporting to : Deputy Manager (Finance and Admin), Project Manager and finally Regional Director
∎ Job Duration : Project Period
∎ Maintain survivors' confidentiality of information throughout the ongoing process of counselling, and build trust with their families, peers, and communities.
∎ Keeping all necessary documents (all kinds of forms/registers, reports, files, guideline and other documents) of Ashshash Phase-II project properly.
∎ Provide support to implementation the different training, meeting, workshop, seminar, symposium organized by the project and other counterpart.
∎ Provide support to maintaining cleaning servicing and other relevant work.
∎ Provide support to entertainment for survivors, guest and staff;
∎ Other duties, as assigned.
∎ Required Languages: Strong written and oral command in Bangle is required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Minimum One year's of practical experience in relevant work;
∎ Experience on office maintenance and supporting work;
∎ Demonstrate positive attitude and sensitivity to support vulnerable and at-risk groups, and communities;
∎ Strong understanding of gender and diversity issues;
∎ Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills;
Salary:
∎ 15,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 4% inflation)
