Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Nutrition Science, public health, MBBS or relevant discipline from a recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and facilitate implementation of program deliverables at Community level Under the direct supervision of Nutrition Specialist.
∎ Assume responsibility for ongoing program activities at the designated field site.
∎ Participate in the assessment, monitoring and evaluation of nutrition projects, including nutrition surveys, selective feeding programs, and nutrition education at respective sites.
∎ Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners, local organizations and community groups.
∎ Under the guidance of the Nutrition Specialist and Nutrition officer will provide ongoing assistance, capacity building and training for partners and community groups.
∎ Facilitate program implementation by partners and community groups and linkages with other service facilities at upazila, union's level.
∎ Oversee the identification, development, or acquisition of appropriate resources to support technical components of the program including written translation of materials.
∎ Participate in development of evaluation tools, and compile and enter data into computer data base for program evaluations and surveys.
∎ Provide information for analysis and reporting.
∎ Document lessons learned, and support for learning and advocacy.
∎ Provide technical input/support to effectively implement the of research agenda
∎ Establish network with different stockholders particularly with Partners, GoB officials i.e. Ministry of Health and Family Planning (MOH&FW), agriculture departments and other research organizations
∎ Facilitation and organize training of community nutrition volunteer and adolescents boys and girls.
∎ Awareness building of beneficiaries regarding resilient farm production as awareness is the key to resilient agriculture of CNV, LF, staff and HH level.
∎ Capacity development of Adolescent boys and girls on SRHR, personal hygiene, gender etc.
∎ Awareness building of school students on nutrition and gender.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 5 to 7 years' professional experience in the field of Nutrition and behavioral change of food and nutrition security, livelihood projects.
∎ Required Experience can be rebated in case of candidate with specialized educational qualification in the relevant field.
∎ Experiences in working agriculture value chain, agri-business development and supply chain development programmes would be added value;
∎ Ability to design, review and establish Nutrition framework;
∎ Organized and able to manage own time under guidance and direction from line-manager;
∎ Excellent proficiency in English language;
∎ Proven skill in analysis of data and narrative report writing.
∎ Must ensure effective team alignment and coordination between operational and support functions to ensure overall performance;
∎ Ability to work in a team;
∎ Proven ability to work in an intercultural environment
∎ Effective and efficient communication skills.
