Job Responsibilities:
∎ Screen children and pregnant and lactating women for malnutrition and admit beneficiaries to TSFP/BSFP according to admission criteria
∎ Assess children 0-6 months for signs of malnutrition and refer when signs present
∎ Examine admitted children and pregnant and lactating women and provide appropriate nutritional and medical treatment following national and international protocols
∎ Examine admitted children for any signs of co-existing illnesses such as pneumonia and diarrhoea, and provide appropriate nutritional and medical treatment or referral according to IMCI guidelines
∎ Refer cases of severe acute malnutrition to the nearest OTP and children with medical complications to the nearest stabilization centre
∎ Liaise with the Nutrition Outreach Teamleader to ensure that defaulters and non-responders are followed up with home visits
∎ Give appropriate nutrition, health and hygiene education to the beneficiaries and care takers
∎ Discharge children and women according to specified discharge criteria
∎ Ensure good hygiene standards are kept within nutrition facilities
∎ Ensure accurate record keeping for reporting
∎ Compile TSFP/BSFP reports as required
∎ Ensure good coordination between the nutrition team and other health and nutrition staff in the same catchment area
∎ Ensure staff of referral facilities is informed of all aspects of the program including referral and counter-referral criteria
∎ Assist other nutrition site staff in preparing stock requests
∎ Ensure safe storage of all medicines and medical material and equipment
∎ Monitor expiration dates to ensure stocks are used prior to their expiration date
∎ Conduct weekly stock checks and keep accurate records of stock movements of medical supplies

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Written and spoken Bangla
∎ Ability to communicate in Rohingya language (spoken Chittagong dialect)
∎ Basic written and spoken English
∎ Desire to serve the refugee community
∎ Enjoys working in a team
∎ Respectful and kind with other staff and beneficiaries
∎ Capacity to be flexible when facing difficult working conditions
∎ Able to work well under pressure
∎ Willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Good communication skills
∎ DESIRABLE
∎ Training in IMCI, CMAM, CMAM-I or IYCF
∎ Experience working in a nutrition program
∎ Experience working with infants 0-6 months
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English
