Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing and Midwifery
∎ Valid BNMC registration essential.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement all the protocols and IPC procedures, and supervises his/her team to follow the MSF standards, in order to warrant the quality of the care and service in his/her specialization.
∎ Organize and coordinate the activities of his/her team (week’s schedule, annual leave, absences, etc.), evaluate staff performance and assess, plan, delivery and evaluate the ongoing learning needs of staff to ensure adequate HR coverage to meet patient needs at a quality level.
∎ Completes and/or coordinate patient care administration (exit, transfer/referral documents, etc.), reviews patient care information and collects data and submits data and analysis (as requested) on a regular schedule, in order to contribute to reliable project planning.
∎ Provide feedback/ reports to medical focal point.
∎ Contribute to the overall assessment, evaluation and planning of the project as directed by the PMR (Project Medical Referent) and NAM (Nursing Activity Manager). Participates with the KTP medical service in designing & recommending plans of patient care areas in consultation with the NAM.
∎ Advocate for patients or recommend solutions to the NAM regarding patient care issues.
∎ Perform day /night shifts and on calls according to duty roster to ensure the quality of care.
∎ Perform aditional reponsibilities in absence of other departmental supervisors.
∎ Ensure nutritional support for the departmental patients.
∎ Ensure collaboration with department responsible MAMs ( Medical Activity Manager)to follow up on patients’ treatment.
∎ Ensure collaboration with IPC supervisor and Manager to implement IPC protocols.
∎ Responsibility for handling external visitors and ensure that line of communication is followed in case of complications.
∎ Ensure that immunization services and practices are in line with national recommended guidelines, treatment protocols and consistent with international humanitarian standards and best practices.
∎ Ensure that vaccine safety is paramount during all vaccination sessions including infection prevention control and waste management. Understanding of vaccine types, correct preparation and dosages, correct administration of each vaccine, AEFI’s.
∎ Ensuring that the vaccination teams are managing immunization activities in line with approved immunization schedules, and ensuring that tally sheets are properly completed.
∎ Collaborates with epidemiology team by providing data, attending educational sessions and supporting with special vaccination sessions for outbreaks.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Having worked in MSF or other NGO’s and in developing countries is desirable. Supervisory experience (also delegated) required.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 83580 - 100296 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level eight (8) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 83580 Gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents
