Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accountabilities
∎ • Carry out the functions and tasks associated to nursing i.e. perform as a nurse or anesthetist, whenever required or needed, in order to optimize the resources, contributing with his/her knowledge and expe-rience.
∎ • Implement all the protocols and hygiene procedures, and supervise his/her team follow the same stan-dards, in order to warrant the quality of the care and service in his/her speciality.
∎ • Organize and coordinate the activities of his/her team (week’s schedule, annual leave, absences, etc.), evaluate their performance and define and ensure the needs for training of staff, in order to ensure the coverage of the human resources needs and maintain high standards of quality.
∎ • Carry out and/or supervise the ( decentralized) pharmacy and medical equipment management (drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and their des-truction, drugs consumption, etc.)in his or her department, in order to satisfy the needs of material with efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ • Ensuring that all staff using medical devices are qualified and trained. Ensuring that cleaning and mi-nor maintenance tasks are performed according to the protocols. Reporting any malfunction to the pro-ject biomedical service.
∎ • Carry-out and/or coordinate administrative (exit-paper, transfer-paper, etc.), information and data collec-tion (patient files, forms, statistics, etc.) tasks, and elaborate regular reporting, in order to have updated and reliable information about the day-to-day activity in the project, output/ outcome and support deci-sion-taking.
∎ • Give feedback/ reports to medical focal point.
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
∎ • Acts as a national staff supervisor and focal point for the vaccination program
∎ • Conduct short daily meetings and weekly staff meeting with staff to discuss related issues and to make some changes in the roster depending on the availability of all registrar and vaccinators.
∎ • Organise short meeting after each working day with the team every day to discuss about challenges and new updates
∎ • To collect vaccine, return unused vaccines, dispose used vials and ampules and submit daily report to MOH in the absence of NAM.
∎ • Follow up all the logistics items and vaccines stock cards
∎ • Ensure the biweekly logistics request from MoH (syringes, needles, immunization cards, tally sheets…) is regurlarly submitted and items collected.
∎ • Is responsible of biweekly medical and non medical items from the supply team (tissues boxes, hand gel, gloves, cotton, …)
∎ • Collaborate with the project pharmacist by providing the biweekly comsumption and other information
∎ • Follow up the daily vaccines supply and communicate any rupture/shortage to the vaccination NAM
∎ • Follow up national staff vaccination and plan regularly a mass vaccination for the project staff
∎ • Ensure that cold chain is properly observed.
∎ • Collaborate on vaccination microplan with WHO & MOH
∎ • Make regular supportive supervision to vaccination staff in the health posts and mobile teams
∎ • Acts as a focal point with MOH, WHO and other stakeholders in all vaccination issues.
∎ • Ensure the collection of daily, weekly and monthly reports are accurate and up to date and report to MSF data collector and MOH
∎ • Reinforce the weekly staff training/lecture.
∎ • Make monthly roster.
∎ • Prepare monthly work plan and help in making the monthly medical report
∎ • Participate in the organization, implementation, and evaluation of vaccination services and campaigns.
∎ • Will be responsible for the rigorous management and monitoring of the vaccines and vaccination materials. Understanding cold chain, temperature sensitivity of vaccines, preparation of vaccine carriers, vaccine and material requests, calculation of use and wastage.
∎ • Ensure that vaccine safety is paramount during all vaccination sessions including infection prevention control and waste management. Understanding of vaccine types, correct preparation and dosages, correct administration of each vaccine, AEFI’s and AEB’s.
∎ • Analyze statistics, write clear, precise narrative reports and submit in a timely manner (MMR) if requested by the NAM.
∎ • Follow up HR related issues (leaves, pay slip, …)
∎ • Participate to any meetings from other actors involved in the vaccination activities when requested by the vaccination NAM
∎ • To perform any other duties/responsibilities that maybe assigned by the supervisor and organization.

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience: Essential 2 years of previous experience. Having worked in MSF or other NGO’s and in developing countries is desirable.
∎ Languages: Mission and local language essential.
∎ Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Contract length: Six months (06 Months with 3 months probationary period)
∎ Benefits: Salary according to the internal MSF salary grid. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents
∎ Others: No relocation allowance shall be provided
