Experience:

• At least 5 years

• Masters

A master`s degree in environmental sciences, urban and regional/rural planning, economics, development studies, or other relevant disciplines.

• At least 5 years

• Very clear understanding on NAP and NDC, institutional mechanisms and IMED structures and processes.

• More than five (5) years of relevant professional experience in similar positions involving climate change adaptation and related areas, MEL, the design and implementation of logical frameworks, monitoring systems and reporting frameworks is required.

• Proven technical knowledge as per key responsibilities mentioned along with documentation and reporting.

• Proven experience in M&E of adaptation.

• Strong understanding of climate change and its impacts on communities.

• Experience in capacity building and multi-stakeholder engagement.

• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, mapping software (ArGIS/QGIS), statistical software packages e.g., SPSS, and any qualitative data analysis software e.g. NVivo or ATLAS will be considered as an advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong documentation, writing, and reporting skills to effectively communicate progress, challenges and insights.

• Coordinate with different experts and specialists of the team including LLA specialist, MRV expert and GHG inventory specialists

• Coordinate with the ICCCAD-IUB programs and research teams to leverage on and integrate relevant work such as tailoring ICCCAD`s 360 Accountability Scorecards approach and context-specific metrics
