Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Key Responsibilities:Agricultural Research and Development:Conduct experiments and research on crop improvement, soil health, pest control, and sustainable farming techniques.Analyze plant growth patterns, yield performance, and environmental factors affecting agriculture.Farm Operations Management:Assist in planning, monitoring, and executing farm activities such as planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.Implement modern agricultural practices to optimize yield and reduce costs.Data Collection and Analysis:Gather and interpret data on crop performance, weather conditions, and resource utilization.Prepare reports and recommend solutions to improve productivity and sustainability.Agro-Business Management:Support supply chain activities, including procurement, storage, and distribution of agricultural produce.Collaborate with marketing teams to promote agricultural products and understand market trends.
∎ Training and Development:Participate in workshops and hands-on training programs to gain knowledge of the latest agricultural technologies and techniques.Develop leadership and managerial skills for potential future roles in farm or agribusiness management.
