Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Sciences/ Economics/ Statistics / Development Studies /Disaster Management or any other relevant disciplines from recognized university/ Minimum graduate from any reputed university.

∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ To monitoring project plans and related activities to assess progress and bring to the attention of the project implementation teams any deviations or short falls and develop plan of actions for corrective measures. Summarize program and related activities achievements and shortfalls through management information system and make comparative analysis of four Upazila Offices and relate these with objectives and goal.
∎ Monitoring Officer will provide technical support to the 4 Upazila Coordinators and their team members to assess their work progress, achievements and outputs of the program activities and resources utilized in the process. Assist the Upazila teams to develop plans in case of any deviations or shortfalls to take corrective measures.
∎ Purpose of position: The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of monitoring and documentation for the project "Resilience building & low carbon sustainable development of climate vulnerable communities in Bangladesh (RBCV)" to ensure the time bound implementation and quality of services and to provide M&E based information/facts/findings/case studies in preparing project progress reports and monitoring reports.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the supervision of the Manager-M&E participate in the planning and preparation of the monitoring, evaluation and documentation of the project.
∎ Plan and organize project activity monitoring and documentation to ensure the necessary support for quality implementation of the project.
∎ Under the supervision of the Manager-M&E he/she will develop different kinds of quality documentations, stories considering project progress and positive changes in people's lives throughout the project implementation.
∎ Participate in compilation and analysis of the data collected.
∎ Monitor the progress of the project and recommend further measures for ensuring progress.
∎ Ensure monitoring reports in timely manner under a supervision of the Manager-M&E.
∎ Ensure report & findings are communicated effectively through close collaboration with the project team.
∎ Responsible to implement the developed outcome and impact-based M&E framework work and preparation of project reports during the project period.
∎ The monitoring officer will respond to operate the web-based dynamic CCDB MIS software for implementing, monitoring, and reporting of the project activities in most cases. The CCDB MIS will also supplement for performing his/her duties digitally.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Proven skills and competencies to work with MS/ Excel, MS Access, SPSS/ STATA is preferable.
∎ Must have clear understanding & experience in baseline survey, M&E process and tools.
∎ Have knowledge on qualitative and quantitative M&E system, large data based management, monitoring of socio economic status.
∎ Good communication and networking skill both in Bangla & English.
∎ Willingness to travel at project areas.
∎ Should have interpersonal communication, facilitation and representation skills
∎ Excellent command on writing in both English and Bangla languages
∎ Skill in file management & e-communication and familiar with MIS

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
