∎ • Participatory, gender-sensitive and inclusive Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) approaches and methodologies with adults, youths and children.
∎ • Data management, quality control and validation processes and requirements
∎ • Feedback and complaint mechanisms and methodologies.
∎ • M&E of social norms and influencing.
∎ • Appropriate statistical analysis methodologies and systems
∎ • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
∎ • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
∎ • Knowledge of rights of persons with disabilities, key international agreements and conventions
∎ • Knowledge on Safeguarding
∎ • Working with community, especially in rural areas
∎ • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, required.
∎ • Manage quantitative and qualitative data collection.
∎ • Engage and influence staff and management to implement strong Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL practices.
∎ • Promote and encourage discussion and learning on gender and inclusion in M&E.
∎ • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, with proven ability to be flexible and team oriented.

∎ • Analyze, synthesize, and draw out conclusions and learning from M&E data and processes.
∎ • Experience in data collection, management, and analysis using tools like Excel, ODK/ KOBO, or similar software.
∎ • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ • Familiarity with M&E frameworks such as logframes or Results-Based Management (RBM) are highly appreciable.

∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD’s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Monitoring Officer’ under a project named ‘The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youths with Disabilities in All Domains of CBR (MaPInCBR)’ to be implemented with the support of Liliane Foundation (LF). The duration of the project is till 31st December 2029. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
∎ *** Job Description:

∎ Project-specific Responsibilities:
∎ • Plan and coordinate data quality assurance, including frequent data auditing and data spot checks for the Multi-Annual Programme (MAP) Program
∎ • Ensure availability and accessibility of reliable project monitoring data through analysis and triangulation of qualitative and quantitative data for the MAP Program
∎ • Facilitate the generation, storage and utilization of project information among project staff and key stakeholders.
∎ • Manage and ensure consistency and integrity of the project data for reporting and decision making.
∎ • Collaborate with the M&E, Communication Officer, program staff and partners to ensure that knowledge management processes, program monitoring, evaluation and learning include children and youth with disabilities
∎ • Support the capacity building and mentoring of the program team and project partners in knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
∎ • Participate proactively in project review and planning process and budgeting ensuring program quality and value for money.
∎ • Support project team in developing the annual and six monthly and quarterly reports.
∎ • Responsible to collect and archive all the Documents, Photos, reports, case stories and various kind of Reports for further use.
∎ • Perform other roles as assigned by Line Manager, as it relates to the success of the project
∎ • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites area some of which are in remote locations.
∎ Safeguarding Responsibilities:
∎ • Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
∎ • Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
∎ • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
