∎ Written and spoken fluency in Bangla, English is essential.
∎ Ability to communicate in the local dialect (Chittagonian Dialect).
∎ Computer Knowledge is a must (MS Word, Excel, Power point. Data Collection (Kobo, Compare, ODK) Apps along with Bangla typing)
∎ Ability to prepare and lead report compilation.
∎ Strong analytical and data management skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Familiarity with relevant monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer plays a crucial role to ensuring effectively and quantifiable status for smooth running of the project.
∎ Develop and implement a robust monitoring system to track project activities and outputs.
∎ Regularly collect and analyse data to assess the progress of project activities.
∎ Ensure that monitoring activities are conducted in a timely and systematic manner
∎ Update Output tracking sheets, tools for measuring the progress towards outcome for all activities of projects, validates data received from the field staff and measures progress of the planned outputs.
∎ Engages community and other stakeholders in monitoring and collects their reflections about the outcomes of the projects.
∎ Provide training and capacity-building support to project staff on monitoring and evaluation techniques.
∎ Plan and conduct evaluations of project outcomes and impact using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
∎ Collaborate with external evaluators, as needed, and manage the evaluation process.
∎ Produce evaluation reports with actionable recommendations for program improvement.
∎ Develop accountability and feedback mechanism for each project through adopting Child Friendly Feedback Mechanism (CFFM) guidelines and inter-agency tools and take necessary initiatives to enhance capacity and Flow Chart and reporting protocol in collaboration with the respective with M&E Specialist of PIB.
∎ Conduct the post distribution monitoring.
∎ Ensure that accountability mechanisms are integrated into project activities.
∎ Facilitate and respond to feedback from beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate learning sessions and reflection workshops for project staff.
∎ Promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
∎ Document and share lessons learned from project implementation.
∎ Ensure a monitoring and evaluation system is developed to include indicators, tools, and methods of data collection and analysis as well as frequency of data collection.
∎ Generate summary statistics, and rapid and initial analysis and findings from Programme databases, M&E datasets and/or other sources of data to support data requests from Programme.
∎ Carry out quality checks on Program and MEAL-related databases (including beneficiary databases, delivery of assistance databases, complaints trackers and reporting figures) of own organization.
∎ Record findings of discrepancies or issues in a data quality log, and coordinate with relevant teams to identify and carry out appropriate plan of action/follow-up
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.Safeguarding
∎ Preventing harm and abuse from our people, operations, and programmes to anyone that encounters our work.
∎ Report all safeguarding incidents they see, hear, hear about, or suspect, using our internal reporting mechanism.
∎ Complying with all safeguarding framework policies and practices.
