Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Statistics, Anthropology, Environmental Sciences, Data Sciences, Development Studies, Disaster Management Studies or any equivalent and relevant subject from a recognized university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ You will bring at least five (5) years' experience of work in development/humanitarian sectors and preferably 2 years in leading MEAL team humanitarian programs in an international non-profit Organization;
∎ systems thinking and strong technical understanding of a range of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEAL) and knowledge management Framework, tools and indicator setting, with emphasis on participatory and partnership-based approaches;
∎ fluent oral and written communication skills in both Bangla and English languages; strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relations with multicultural and multiethnic teams, including working with partner organizations;
∎ Experience and commitment to promote equity, gender and diversity and ability to remain calm, work under pressure and tight deadline without losing sight of strategic objectives;
∎ Ability to work effectively with others to achieve results, with strong advisory / facilitation skills and experience in training and coaching teams and individuals - especially in MEAL;
∎ proven ability to develop good command over local contextual knowledge as well as excellent analytical skills;
∎ demonstrable ability on creative graphical representation of data and information;
∎ community engagement and development skills to influence and scale-up standard work practices;
∎ proven experience in building and sustaining an effective knowledge management system.
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
∎ Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women's rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
∎ Commitment to Oxfam's safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible
