Experience:
Master’s degree in social science/development studies/statistics/disaster management or any other relevant subjects from a reputed institution.
• At least 02 years' experience working with MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, Report Writing and Documentation) in a Local or National, or International NGO.
• Must have sound knowledge of logical frameworks, monitoring tools, accountability frameworks, and theory of change.
• Know data collection techniques, sampling methodology, and MEAL concepts.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong Bangla and English writing and reporting skills.
• Proven experience working with persons with disabilities, partner organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Have time management, analytical ability, communication and presentation skills.
• Have adaptability, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access), especially Excel and quantitative analysis (through SPSS).
• Work Station is Head Office, CDD but with extensive field visit to at least 50% per month at project locations)
*** Job Responsibilities:
• Work on planning and implementation of data collection, data entry, and validation processes for effective project monitoring.
• Regularly/Monthly update MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) reports aligned with project goals and donor requirements.
• Assist CDD management to ensure accountability to the most at-risk community, concerned donor, and the Government of Bangladesh.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities, assess quality, and gather feedback from program participants and stakeholders.
• Exercise MEAL tools of the project and orient project teams on their usage.
• Prepare timely and well-written event reports in both Bangla and English, including field visit reports, in close coordination with the project field team, and develop donor reports based on evidence and analysis.
• Ensure effective functioning of the Inclusive Complaint, Feedback and Response Mechanism (iCFRM) to support accountability.
• Document lessons learned for internal learning sharing and external reporting.
• Provide technical and need-based support to project teams to improve planning, implementation, accountability, and learning.
• Guide and support the field team in maintaining proper documentation and database management to track progress and ensure accountability in reporting.
• Monitoring and mentoring SHGs, Flood Volunteers’ Group, and/or Anticipatory Task Force in executing their plans.
• Work closely with different project teams to document good practices, capture lessons learned, design and conduct surveys, and prepare reports.
• Collect reports from all team visits, ensure their quality and compliance, and work with the Project Manager to incorporate recommendations into the MEAL system.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
• Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
• Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
• Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Monitoring & Documentation Officer’ under a project named ‘Anticipate, Include, Act: Strengthening Community Resilience in Kurigram’ to be implemented with the support of CBM International. The duration of the project is till 30th June 2027. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
