Experience:

• At least 12 years

• Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

• Master`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant technical field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, ICT, Accounting, or related disciplines will be considered an added advantage.

• At least 12 years

• Age At most 60 years

• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience in MIS or related roles within reputed national/international NGOs, government agencies, or donor-funded projects. At least 06 years of direct experience in software development, system integration, and database management.

• Additional Requirements

• Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali

• Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity

• Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary

• Able to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license

• Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.

• MIS Specialist will be responsible to Project Head;

• Lead the design, development, integration, and management of MIS platforms and databases to support project planning, monitoring, and reporting.

• Ensure smooth operation of data collection tools, dashboard systems, and reporting platforms for internal and donor use.

• Provide capacity building and technical support to project and field staff on MIS tools, digital reporting, and data visualization.

• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security in compliance with donor and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with program, M&E, and technical teams to ensure effective data flow and integration with programmatic decision-making.

• Generate regular analytical reports to inform project performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

• Troubleshoot technical issues in MIS software or tools and ensure system updates and improvements as needed.

• Coordinate with government counterparts, development partners, and donor agencies for data sharing, alignment, and compliance.

• Contribute to documentation, learning, and knowledge management activities related to MIS and ICT interventions.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend innovations for improving the effectiveness of MIS in skills development programs.
