Job Context:
∎ YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) www.ypsa.org is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chattogram division since 1985 with a vision to build a society without poverty where everyone`s basic needs and rights are ensured. YPSA is implementing UNICEF Bangladesh supported a project title "Child Centered Care Response to Rohingya Adolescents (Boys and Girls) in Cox`s Bazar Project".
∎ YPSA invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position.
∎ Job location: Ukhiya upazilla under Coxs bazar
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure regular and consistent updating of programme beneficiary and assistance delivery via appropriate reporting software/platform
∎ Generate summary statistics, and rapid and initial analysis and findings from Programme databases, M&E data sets or other sources of data to support data requests from Programmes
∎ Verify beneficiary reporting figures for monthly, quarterly and final donor reports, ensuring that reported figures best match with sources of information
∎ Carry out quality checks on Programme and M&E-related databases (including beneficiary databases, delivery of assistance databases, complaints trackers and reporting figures) of GOAL
∎ Record findings of discrepancies or issues in a data quality log, and coordinate with relevant teams to identify and carry out appropriate plan of action/follow-up
∎ Attend relevant meetings on information and data management
∎ Ensure back-up and organization of all data and information sources (hard copy and soft copy)
∎ Frequently field visit as per project needs
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years job experience as a MIS officer or similar functions at any NGO
∎ Ability to communicate in local dialect (Chittagonian Dialect).
∎ Sound knowledge of MIS management
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision making skills
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Excellent communication skills including a high level of written and spoken English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary BDT 50,000 with other benefits as per project budget
