∎ Master's degree in epidemiology with strong statistical background/ BSc(Hons) in Statistics / BSc in Computer Science from any government recognized university. Master degree in Statistics or Computer Science will get preference

Job Context:
∎ National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of MIS Officer with Tuberculosis Program funded by Global Fund. The appointment will be made on Contractual Service Agreement basis for 10 months which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds. The position will report to Line Director (TB-L and ASP).
∎ Posting location: All Divisional Head Quarter (Health)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ NTP will recruit eight (08) MIS Officer at divisional level who will be responsible to ensure reporting of Global Fund C19 RM activities in collaboration with TB, HIV and Malaria Program of GOB and NGO PRs.
∎ Provide adequate support to Divisional TB Expert of respective division for managing effective Monitoring and Reporting System of the division;
∎ Strengthen MIS for TB program at respected division in collaboration with divisional TB Expert, DSMOs and NTP Headquarter;
∎ Collect data for TB, C19 RM activities and COVID testing report from different reporting centers of respective division; Conduct data compilation and entry for reporting - and ensure regular reporting of TB and COVID program indicator;
∎ Ensure GeneXpert/GeneXlert Reporting from all sites under the division;
∎ Ensure TB - COVID Bidirectional Reporting of respective divisions;
∎ Ensure Monitoring and data entry in e-TB Manager;
∎ Conduct data validation of respective division;
∎ Maintain death record of TB, TB-COVID, DR TB, DR TB patient suffering from COVID -19 infection;
∎ Prepare and submit reports of TB -HIV to NTP Central;
∎ Arrange on job training for PO/TLCA/MT Lab in monitoring, reporting mechanism;
∎ Ensure standard operation of organization's data flow network;
∎ Address, trouble shoot and fix IT equipment used for data entry in different reporting sites;
∎ Prepare and submit periodic reporting of TB and COVID data, and others relevant data as required by LFA, Global Fund, DGHS & MOHFW and WHO;
∎ Establish and maintain collaboration with NTP, all CS Office and UHCs of respective division and partners for strengthening reporting of diverse TB program in the context of COVID -19;
∎ Work with divisional TB Expert in different documentation and programmatic issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficient in using computer and required software (i. e. MS office, spreadsheet and database, etc. Skills in report writing;
∎ Excellent computing skills with proficiency in producing program reports, preparing correspondence, composing e-mails and preparing multi-media presentations;
∎ High level of proficiency both in English and Bengali.
∎ 3 years' working experience in M&E, research, or data management, of which 2 years should be supporting M&E, research or data management in a disease-control programme or project. Evidence of data management and monitoring should be added as an asset. Working experience in TB program with National or International Organization will be counted as an additional value.
Salary:
∎ 40,000/ -(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
