Job Context:
∎ Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to implement the Child Protection (CP) Project with Rohingya and Host communities under its Humanitarian Preparedness and Response Program, Cox’s Bazar with the support of Save the Children International (SCI) and UNHCR which is assumed to be commenced from October, 2020.
∎ The duration of the project is initially 3 Months (to be extended subject to the provision of project extension for the next year). The position will be recruited for implementing the project based at the Cox`s Bazar FIVDB Office with substantial time at the Field Office at Gilatoli and project areas (different camps and host community at Teknaf and Ukhia). The job may be regularized after completion of 6 months of services under FIVDB’s pay-scale, rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The MIS Officer is responsible for designing and conducting MIS/ M&E activities of the Project by supporting child protection routine monitoring of case management, coordinate data collection and channel form project staff and MIS Assistant and also responsible for data entry of data from routine data collection and assessment surveys. S/he is reportable to Project Coordinator and functional relations with MEAL Manager. S/he will supervise Assistant MIS Officer,
∎ Data Entry
∎ • Ensure effective entry of all MEAL data and management of the Child Protection Case Management Tracker using a provided format;
∎ • Regular visits to project sites to support the data collection process and to cross-check to validity of data.
∎ • Conducting analysis of collated data for reporting purposes;
∎ • Assisting in designing formats for field data collection related to child protection activities in the field.
∎ • Updating, cleaning, maintenance and backing up of various databases
∎ • Support in providing regular reports and updates.
∎ • Provide technical support to the Project Officers on the database forms, use and documentation. Work closely with Social Case Workers and Project Officers to ensure the effective and accurate reporting on case management activities in the Case Tracker in timely manner.
∎ • Providing assistance to the office staff in preparation of documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
∎ • Staff meeting facilitation, writing meeting minutes and proper documentation of those minutes.
∎ • Preserve all the relevant documents as hard file and soft copy and also produce on demands.
∎ • Share findings from field visits through regular reporting as agreed with the line manager.
∎ • Ensure ways of working are in line with child protection data protection principles and protocols, and reinforce key principles with child protection teams.
∎ • Support the implementation of the Child Protection Information Management System, if required.
∎ • Any other duties assigned by the line manager on necessity basis.
∎ Collaboration
∎ • Regularly coordinate and collaborate with Response Team to strengthen programming and impact for children;
∎ • Help create 360°accountability by supporting systems to seek, receive, and respond to beneficiaries’ feedback, suggestions, and complaints.
∎ Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations in Bangladesh, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor;

∎ Fluent in Bangla and English (especially in writing).
∎ Work as team player and has flexibility in his/her work
∎ Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach for Rohingya Community/ Host Community
∎ Good communication, Facilitation and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local cultural language
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Familiar with MS-word, Excel, Power point and internet
Salary:
∎ Tk. 46929 (Monthly)
∎ TK. Up to 46,929.00 (Monthly) (fixed; taxes payable to be deducted)
