Educational Requirements:
∎ Essential midwifery qualification or specialization. Desired Bachelor in Midwifery.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborating with the medical doctor and /or nurse in the management of Sexual Violence cases.
∎ Strong focus on confidentiality and consent during every consultation.
∎ Taking history in a sensitive and appropriate way.
∎ Providing psychological first aid for SGBV survivors.
∎ Basic point of care diagnostic test among others: pregnancy, syphilis and HIV testing.
∎ Providing medical care according to strict protocol including prescription of HIV-PEP, emergency contraception, STI treatment and administration of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccination.
∎ Counselling about and provision of safe termination of pregnancy.
∎ Documentation of cases according to MSF guidelines including violence incidence reporting.
∎ Support of the Midwife Supervisor in weekly reporting of data and stock-counts.
∎ Collaboration with the SRH-midwifery team, community volunteer team and mental health team.

∎ Essential working experience of at least two years in midwife activities related jobs. SGBV case management experience desirable.
∎ Essential Bangla, Chittagonian/Burmese desirable.
