Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Midwives for this project.
∎ Midwifery Led Care Centre: Midwifery Led Care Centre is a small team of midwives who provide care for women throughout their pregnancy, during labor and in the postnatal period. The objective is to lessen maternal and neonatal complications while spreading awareness of midwifery in the community setting and helping secure professional credibility for the midwives.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide full & extreme antenatal, intra natal care, postnatal care and newborn care;
∎ To assess and plan for care;
∎ To supervise and assist mothers in labor, monitor the condition of the fetus and using knowledge of drugs and pain management;
∎ To identify high risk pregnancies and making referral on time to definite health facility;
∎ To provide family planning supports and services to couple and women;
∎ To provide 24/7 services on a rotation basis including night shifts;
∎ To provide health education, counseling and advice before and after antenatal care, postnatal care, intra natal care and newborn care;
∎ To offer support and advice in case of miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality and neonatal death;
∎ To give support and advice on the daily care of babies which includes breastfeeding and complementary feeding.
∎ To give community health care for midwifery advocacy and awareness.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience of independent NVD;
∎ Capable of dealing with emotionally critical and pressured situation;
∎ Good writing & oral communication skills in English and Bengali;
∎ Good health and fitness;
∎ Caring and compassionate in nature.
