Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
Responsibilities & Context:
About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level SQA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through test planning, execution, automation, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, test automation knowledge, and a passion for delivering quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web/mobile/API applications.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process.
Report, track, and manage bugs using tools like Jira or similar.
Maintain and improve automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, etc.
Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and performance testing as needed.
Support CI/CD processes with integration of automated tests.
Contribute to QA process improvement initiatives.
