Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS with Post Graduation in (MD/M-Phil) in Microbiology or B.Sc (Hons) with M.Sc in Microbiology from any recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide inputs to prepare and implement DRS protocols and DOTS plus activities;
∎ Implement, supervise, monitor, and evaluate DRS and DOTS plus activities;
∎ Monitor the DRS and DOTS plus services and give recommendations for improvements;
∎ Define human resource development needs for DRS and DOTS plus and support strengthening of national/regional TB/ASP reference laboratory and monitor the quality control of the laboratory;
∎ Prepare requirements for logistics for DRS and DOTS plus and support strengthening of national/regional TB/ASP reference laboratory and monitor the quality control of the laboratory;
∎ Develop and update the Management Information System (MIS) for DRS and DOTS plus activities;
∎ Provide inputs in preparation of plans, actions, annual reports and monitoring and evaluation reports;
∎ Build capacity of NTP partners.
Additional Requirements:
∎ High-level analytical and organizational skills applied to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health care, particularly TB/ASP services;
∎ Skills in communication and facilitating coordination among decision makers and NTP partners;
∎ High level of proficiency in English and Bengali. Skills in report writing;
∎ Proficient in at using a computer to produce reports, prepare correspondence, compose e-mail and prepare multi-media presentations, operating skill and knowledge of Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in the field of Microbiology, working experience in TB/ASP program with National or International organization will be considered as an additional value.
Salary:
∎ 115,963/ -(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
