Responsibilities & Context:
- Handle buyer accounts independently and maintain strong relationships.
- Coordinate with design, product development, and sampling teams.
- Prepare accurate cost sheets and negotiate prices and delivery schedules with buyers.
- Work with suppliers for fabric and trims sourcing, including price negotiations.
- Collaborate with planning and production teams to allocate capacity effectively.
- Ensure timely approvals for fabric, trims, fit, PP samples, wash standards, etc.
- Monitor the critical path and take corrective action in case of delays.
- Follow up with fabric and trim suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage the Time & Action (T&A) Calendar and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Guide junior merchandisers/assistants in order follow-up.
- Provide regular reports to management on order status, challenges, and solutions.
