Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Candidate must have sound knowledge on Sweater & Knit Industry.
∎ To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department.
∎ Should be able to develop business with new buyers.
∎ Team Player/Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
∎ Supervision and costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/delivery.
∎ Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer.
∎ Should have good connection with the buyers.
∎ Product development, consumption, costing & procurement of all kinds of Knitwear.
∎ Skilled enough to handle from order execution to order implementation till shipment.
∎ Understanding of production process (production progress status).
∎ Good knowledge on knit & sweater fabric & accessories.
∎ Able to face any situation.
∎ Good communicate skill with customers as well as suppliers.
∎ Making liaison with foreign buying house and buyers.
∎ Any other assignment given by the top management.
